organic cotton
Organic cotton is grown using no fertilizers or pesticides, which prevents contamination to local water sources, helps biodiversity, and protects agriculture workers from toxic chemicals. It’s non-GMO, uses less water than conventional cotton farming, and encourages crop rotation for healthier soil.
When present, GOTS or OCS organic cotton certifications tell us that cotton was grown organically and also ensure that workers’ rights were protected throughout the supply chain – from growing the cotton in the field to sewing the garment in a factory.
WHEN YOU SAY “ETHICAL”...
In this case, we mean: Blank garments are Fair Wear certified, meaning workers were paid a living wage for making the clothes, and factories don’t allow child labor, forced labor, or unsafe working conditions. Each
garment is then embroidered by Keyona after you order. Made-to-order items like this reduce the waste of unsold inventory and make sure we’re only creating clothes there is real demand for!
